GHOSTLINE Drift App Privacy Policy

GHOSTLINE CLUB, LLC (“GHOSTLINE,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the GHOSTLINE Drift App.
GHOSTLINE is a drift telemetry, layout building, scoring, replay, and camera overlay app. During the Phase 1 public release, many app features store run, layout, telemetry, replay, and video data locally on your device unless you choose to export or share that data.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account or sign in to the GHOSTLINE Drift App, we may collect:
- Email address
- Username
- User account ID
- Authentication/session information
This information is used for account creation, login, password reset, profile identity, and account management.
We do not collect or store your raw password. Authentication is handled through our authentication provider.
Location and GPS Data
The app uses your device’s location/GPS permission for features such as:
- Layout building
- Drift scoring
- Freestyle scoring
- Live telemetry
- Run replay
- GPS path recording
During Phase 1, GPS, telemetry, layout, replay, and run data are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share that information.
If future versions add cloud sync, online leaderboards, in-app layout sharing, friends, competitions, or other connected features, certain location, telemetry, layout, or run data may be uploaded to provide those features. This Privacy Policy will be updated if those practices change.
Camera, Photos, and Videos
The app may request camera and photo library access for:
- Camera Overlay recording
- Saving videos to your device
- Exporting recordings
- Sharing recordings through your device’s share options
During Phase 1, videos and camera recordings are stored locally on your device unless you choose to save, export, or share them. We do not upload your videos to our servers during Phase 1.
Run, Layout, and Telemetry Data
The app may create and store data such as:
- Saved drift layouts
- Run history
- Replay paths
- Speed
- Drift angle
- G-force
- Yaw rate
- Duration
- Score data
- GPS samples
- Layout markers such as start, finish, initiation, zones, clips, and touch-and-go markers
During Phase 1, this data is stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share it.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create and manage user accounts
- Allow users to sign in and reset passwords
- Display usernames and profile information
- Provide drift telemetry, layout building, scoring, replay, and camera overlay features
- Save and display run history
- Allow users to export or share layouts and recordings
- Improve app functionality, stability, and user experience
- Respond to support requests
3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
During Phase 1, the following information is primarily stored locally on your device:
- Run history
- Saved layouts
- Telemetry samples
- GPS replay data
- Camera overlay recordings
- Exported layout files
- Exported run files
If you delete the app, local data may be deleted from your device unless it was exported, backed up, or saved elsewhere by you.
4. Data Shared by You
You may choose to export or share certain data, such as:
- Layout files
- Run files
- Videos
- Screenshots
- Replay recordings
When you use AirDrop, text message, email, Files, Snapchat, Instagram, or other sharing tools, that sharing is controlled by your device and the third-party service you choose. We are not responsible for how third-party apps handle information you choose to share.
5. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services to operate the app, including:
- Supabase for account authentication, user accounts, and profile information
- Apple services for App Store distribution, device permissions, and iOS functionality
These services may process information as needed to provide app functionality.
6. Advertising and Tracking
GHOSTLINE does not show third-party advertising during Phase 1.
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your personal information to track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising purposes.
7. Children’s Privacy
GHOSTLINE is not specifically directed to children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete that information.
8. Data Retention
Account information may be retained while your account is active.
Local run, layout, telemetry, replay, and video data remains on your device unless you delete it, delete the app, export it, share it, or future cloud features are added.

If you want to request account deletion, contact us using the email above and include the email address associated with your GHOSTLINE account.
10. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect account information and app data. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes, including when new features such as friends, in-app layout sharing, leaderboards, competitions, cloud sync, or paid features are added.
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and post the revised Privacy Policy.
12. Account Deletion and Data Requests
GHOSTLINE users can permanently delete their accounts directly within the app by navigating to Profile → Delete Account and following the confirmation instructions.
Deleting an account permanently removes the user's GHOSTLINE authentication account and associated profile information from our active systems. Account-specific data stored locally by the app, including saved runs, layouts, and telemetry, is also deleted as part of the process.
Account deletion cannot be undone. Previously exported or shared files stored outside the app are not automatically deleted.
